General
Which areas do you cover?
Newcastle, Sunderland, Gateshead, Gosforth, Jesmond, Ponteland, Whitley Bay, Tynemouth, North Shields, Cramlington and Morpeth, plus many places in between. Send us your postcode if you are not sure.
How much does a cleaner cost?
Regular cleans start from £20 an hour with a two-hour minimum. Most homes need two to three hours, so a typical visit costs £40 to £60. Deep cleans and end of tenancy cleans are priced by the size and condition of the home.
Are your cleaners DBS-checked and insured?
Yes. Every cleaner is background checked before they visit a customer’s home, and every clean is covered by public liability insurance.
Is there a contract?
No. Regular cleans can be paused or cancelled whenever you need. We just ask for notice so we can let your cleaner know.
How soon can you start?
It depends on your area and the cleaners available that week. Send your postcode and we will reply with our earliest start date, usually the same day.
Do I need to be home?
No. Lots of customers leave a key or door code. Your cleaner lets themselves in, cleans and locks up.
Do you bring your own cleaning products?
Yes. Our cleaners bring products and equipment. If you prefer your own, for allergies or any other reason, just tell us.
Is there a callout fee?
No. You only pay for the cleaning.
Do you work with landlords and letting agents?
Yes. We clean between tenancies and can be one point of contact across several properties.
What is the difference between a regular clean and a deep clean?
A regular clean keeps your home on top week to week. A deep clean is a one-off that reaches inside cupboards and the oven, behind appliances, grout, limescale and skirting boards.
Regular house cleaning
How much does a regular cleaner cost?
Our regular cleans start from £20 an hour with a two-hour minimum. Most homes need two to three hours a visit, which works out at around £40 to £60.
How often should I book a regular clean?
Weekly suits busy family homes and pets. Fortnightly works well for smaller homes or couples. You can switch between the two at any time.
Do I need to be home during the clean?
No. Lots of our customers leave a key or a door code and are out at work. Your cleaner locks up when they leave.
Will I get the same cleaner each time?
Yes, wherever possible. If your cleaner is ill or on holiday we will tell you and offer cover or a new date.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. Pause for a holiday or cancel whenever you like. We only ask for notice so we can tell your cleaner.
Do your cleaners bring their own products?
Yes. If you would rather we used your products, for allergies or preference, just say so.
Deep cleaning
What is the difference between a deep clean and a regular clean?
A regular clean keeps on top of the visible surfaces each week. A deep clean goes further: inside cupboards and the oven, behind appliances, grout, limescale and every skirting board.
How much does a deep clean cost?
It depends on the size of your home and how long since it was last deep cleaned. Tell us your bedrooms and bathrooms and we will send a fixed price, usually the same day.
How long does a deep clean take?
A one-bedroom flat can take around half a day. A larger family home can take a full day, sometimes with two cleaners. We confirm the time with your quote.
Do I need to provide cleaning products?
No. Our cleaners bring their own products and equipment. Let us know if you prefer particular products.
Can a deep clean lead into regular cleaning?
Yes, and it is the best way to start. Many customers book a deep clean then move straight onto a weekly or fortnightly visit.
How often should I get a deep clean?
Most homes benefit from one or two a year. Homes with pets, young children or heavy kitchen use often book one every few months.
End of tenancy cleaning
Will an end of tenancy clean get my deposit back?
We clean to the standard expected at an inventory check-out, which covers the items most often flagged. Deposit decisions are made by your landlord or agent against the original inventory, so nobody can honestly guarantee the outcome.
How much does an end of tenancy clean cost?
It is priced on the number of bedrooms and the condition of the property. Send us the details and we will reply with a fixed price, usually the same day.
Should the property be empty?
Ideally yes. Furniture can stay if it belongs to the landlord, but your own belongings should be packed and gone so we can reach every surface.
Can you clean on the day I move out?
Often, yes. Get in touch as early as you can so we can hold a slot that fits between your van leaving and the check-out.
Do you work with landlords and letting agents?
Yes. We clean between tenancies for private landlords and agents, and can be your regular contact across several properties.
Is carpet cleaning included?
Carpets are hoovered as standard. Deep carpet cleaning is an extra we can add if your tenancy agreement asks for it.
